Islamic Research and Humanitarian Service Center of America (IRHSCA) is a private, nonprofit (501C) academic and cultural institution, concerned with general issues of Islamic thought. The institute was establish in the United States of America on 1 Ramadan 1421 (November 27, 2000). The center is located in the heart of Capital Heights, MD about two blocks from the Capital Heights metro station on the blue line. IRHSCA is governed by a SHURA board that meets regularly to discuss various issues affecting the community.

We are delighted to have the author Turiya S. Abdul Raheem who will be discussing her second book entitled "Why We Chose This Way ". Turiya takes us inside the diverse lives of African-American Muslim women and why they chose Al-Islam as their way of life.
We would like sisters to participate in the book discussion and have books signed by Turiya. You can purchase her book from Amazon.

Stretch For Life

Come join us Sundays at 12:15 and experience and feel the energy after a good stretch. Let's stretch out the stress. Sisters only and only $10 for a session.

Senior Nutritional Lunch Program/Social

If you are ages 65 and older come out for this FREE event. This event takes place the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
